Our Best Of “Real Weddings” For 2015

In 2015 we published 63 gorgeous real weddings with amazing handmade details and so to call this list the “best of” isn’t entirely true. It’s really just a compilation of my personal 25 favorite elements from the year and it could have easily been a list of 63. I consider every real wedding published here the best of something and that’s the reason they were carefully chosen to be featured out of the hundreds of submissions we receive. I’m so very grateful to each and every photographer, vendor and bride who helped make each publication possible and who took their valuable time to submit their work to Something Turquoise. We already have an amazing list of fabulous diy-ed events we are preparing to share in 2016 and so until then I hope you enjoy this little jaunt down memory lane!

Best Of: Wedding Hair

Being that I was a wedding hair dresser for 13 years, I can be a bit picky over hairstyles but one of the things I loved most about Tyler + Kaylee’s wedding shot by Ashely dePencier was her hair! Click here to find the full blog post.

Gorgeous, boho wedding hair.

Best Of: Bridesmaid Dresses

This entire wedding from Walking Eagle Photography is swoon-worthy, especially Lauren’s bridesmaid dresses! Click here to find the full blog post.

One of my most favorite getting ready shots ever is this one by Erin Wallis Photography of Ursula on the morning of her wedding. Click here to find the full blog post.

Best Of: Flower Girls + Ring Bearers

Ok, so this is the only non-real wedding feature in the entire list – but there was no way I could leave out these two cuties! In this two-part feature I share how to make your own felt ring and basket for your favorite littles. Click here to find the full DIY tutorial.
