DIY VIDEO: Kids Wooden Wagon Overhaul

We’ve had this awesome kids’ wagon sitting around the backyard for years and I knew if I didn’t get to it soon, it would be a lost cause. The hubs found it in an alley somewhere a long time ago, so it already wasn’t in the best condition, but it had wonderful bones and the kids loved riding in it. I figured a little love and a lot of paint could go a long way, and it sure did! The colors are super fun and non-gender specific, unlike the original pink, and of course turquoise had to be included. It never had cushions or pillows so I made those from scratch using strong outdoor fabric, which I can wash when needed. The entire overhaul took me two weeks, a little work each day, and I’m absolutely in love.

Watch how we took this old wagon and turned it into a darling beach buggy!

I hope this video will inspire you to refinish something fabulous that you have lying around (or that you find in an alley)!

This cutie was up early with me taking photos and couldn’t wait to get in her new wagon for a ride!

The cutest girl... so happy in her refinished wagon!
