How To Make Your Own Printable “Santa’s Driver’s License”
Being a mom of littles is such a fun time for Christmas magic! The first year, Santa left footprints behind, then last year he snagged his coat on the door and a button fell off, this year he’s going to drop his driver’s license on our porch. SUPPLIES:
- Home Printer, like my Canon TR8620
- Canon Matte Photo Paper
- Faux Leather Badge Holder
- Self-laminating Pouches, or a Laminator
- Paper Trimmer
- Corner Rounder

Print Our Design
Click this link to visit our digital craft file shop where you can easily purchase our exclusive printable Santa’s Driver’s License design! Check your inbox for the file (please check your junk too!) and then print on your favorite home printer using a high quality photo paper, like the Canon matte photo paper I’m using here.
Trim Down To Size
Using scissors or a paper trimmer, trim the license down to size. Which will be 2 1/8″ x 3 3/8″.
Join + Round
Tape the front and back together using double sided tape, or glue stick. Then round the corners if you’d like, I think it adds a nice touch.
Laminate
Using a real laminator, or self laminating pouches like I am here, seal the printable so it looks like a real driver’s license. Then trim and round the corners again.
Badge Holder
I thought these faux leather badge holders would be just like what Santa would have… place inside and you’re done! Christmas magic made easy!
Left Behind
Santa will be leaving his drivers license behind on our brick steps… I can’t wait for the kids to see this!
