Making special gifts for my friends and family during the holidays is one of my favorite parts of the season. I love the process of making and the joy of giving someone a gift made especially for them. So in thinking of what fun gifts I could make this year, fine jewelry was really speaking to me. I wanted to make special pieces that would last, and not turn my loved ones’ skin green. So I found this shop on Etsy and quickly wondered if my Canon PIXMA TR8620 All-in-One Printer could print teeny-tiny photos that I could put inside of their gorgeous bezel blanks. I use my printers constantly for everything from craft projects to boring home stuff, and I rely heavily on what they can print for me, but I was super impressed when I tested printing the photos for this project. I have never printed anything this small before and the quality of the detail in these itsy-bitsy prints is simply exceptional. I have been wearing my ring ever since I made it and I’m just so in love!
