Last year I had the fun idea of making all my Christmas gift tags using photo stickers I printed with my Canon IVY CLIQ+2 Instant Camera Printer, which I shared with you here. Not only did you guys love the idea but my family, specifically my littles that can’t read yet, were absolutely enthralled. Every single present under our tree had its own photo gift tag which meant anyone could hand out presents and the girls seriously thought it was the best thing ever, so of course, I’m going to do it again. This year I’m sharing two different color-ways and a total of 28 free printable gift tags along with a page of printable tag patterns in case you’d like to use your own paper and not my designs. This project is just one of many that I have created using my Canon IVY Mini Printers, and if you like it, then you’ll love these. And who knows, if you don’t have an IVY yet, maybe Santa will put one under the tree for you!
Pink + Aqua Holiday
These designs were illustrated on my iPad and then turned into free printable gift tags that exclusively fit the photo print sizes of the ZINK photo paper from Canon. There are 3 sizes/shapes this year, one for the rectangle IVY prints and two for the circle prints, 28 tags total in two colors!

Download + Print
Download: Visit the end of the blog post to grab our exclusive, free printable gift tag designs. Once you click on the graphic your download will start instantly, doing it from a laptop or desktop computer is best, but if you’re really savvy you can do it from your smartphone.
Print as many tags as you’ll need for your holiday gift giving, trim them down to size and then punch a hole in the top if you need to add a string.
I’m using the Canon Double Sided Matte Photo Paper for this project because the print quality is absolutely superb. For those of you who are crazy about paper, you know what I mean. I only use this paper for my projects that include printing.
Print Your ZINK Circle Stickers
Simply click through the free Canon Mini Print App to select the photos for each sticker, for the circle stickers there are two per page.
ps.If you can’t see the option to create the circle stickers in your Mini Print App, then you’ll need to do a quick update!
Add Your Photo Stickers
Now simply peel the circle stickers from each photo print and stick them onto their gift tag. That’s right – all the ZINK photo prints are STICKERS!!
Print Your ZINK Rectangle Stickers
If you’ve been following the blog for a while, you have probably seen me use these ZINK stickers quite a bit and it’s because they are fabulous. They are SUPER sticky, ultra-fun to watch print, and the app makes it easy to edit and have fun with your photos. You can print on the go and my Canon IVY CLIQ+2 is also a camera, so I can shoot the sticker prints right from the camera. Open the app, pick my photo, edit how I like, and print. The filters and text tools are awesome.
Pattern Print
The last page of the printable .PDF document will be this pattern. If you’re using the ZINK rectangle stickers and my tags with the curve at the top, then you’ll want to cut out the little curved pattern to make the cut easy…
And if you’d like to use your own paper, meaning not my printable tags, this pattern is for that too!
Trace + Trim
Trace the curve on the backside of your photo print and then trim to match the curve of the gift tags.
… then peel the backing off the sticker and add your darling photo print to the tag! So easy and absolutely adorable.
Use Your Own Paper
Use the printable patterns as templates to cut out and use any type of paper you would like as the background for your photo gift tags!
Gift Giving Joy
For me, this is what gift-giving is all about. Making someone feel special and loved by adding an extra special little detail like these tags. My oldest is already so excited about them, she helped me pick the photos and loved watching them all print out. We still have more to make for this year and we’re both looking forward to it.
