Canon Mini Print App

First things first, after you get a Canon IVY Mini Photo Printer or a Canon IVY CLIQ+2 Instant Camera Printer, you’ll need to download the Canon Mini Print App to your smartphone. This is how you print photos from your phone, social, and other online storage platforms.

Loading The ZINK Paper

The Canon IVY Mini Printers use a special type of photo paper called ZINK, which stands for zero ink. No need to replace ink cartridges – it’s all built into the photo paper. Each pack has a blue barcode that you add to the printer, face down, so that it reads and calibrates the printer perfectly for the paper you’ve inserted. Now you’re ready to print.

Editing Your Photos

You can print photos from your camera reel, Facebook, Instagram, Google Photos, and you can even take a photo inside the app. Once you pull a photo into the Canon app, you can add filters, text, stickers, frames and more. You can even edit the photo inside the app with brightness, contrast, saturation, and color balance.

Now you’re ready to print! Currently the ZINK photo paper comes in 2″x3″ rectangle photo stickers or two, 1.3″ circle photo stickers. Yes, that’s right – all the photo prints have a super strong sticky back! Which makes them perfect for crafts!

These photo necklaces are just way too cute, I can barely stand it, and are probably my favorite of all the 10 projects. You can find many different types of blank wood and metal necklace bezels online and then print and add one of your IVY circle photo stickers to them! Seal with two layers of ModPodge to protect your creation and you have a gorgeous, custom photo necklace. I actually cut these 1/8” wood blank bezels on my Glowforge, email me and I’d be happy to share the cut file with you for free. The Canon ZINK Pre-cut Circle Stickers are the absolute perfect size to put on a PopSocket! Purchase a plain color and add any photo you want. Then when you are tired of that photo, simply replace it! Your friends will think you had this made!

Ok, is this the best or what!? Creating this fun photo notebook can be done with so many different types of photos. Isn’t this a great idea!? Add your own special photos to drawer or desk knobs! This was a super quick way to really upgrade my vintage desk with photos from a special trip we took to a sunflower farm. The cool thing is that if I get bored of the sunflowers I can always reprint new stickers.
