Simple DIY “Bride Advice” Display

Receiving advice from those who’ve gone before us is invaluable. The women in your life who have been married for only a few months or 30 years will have things that they can share to help you along in your marriage. Collect those special sentiments with this adorable DIY display idea! Let our custom, hand-lettered files (available in our shop) be the focal point and assemble some cute decor around it for a sweet and simple statement. The cards can then be placed in a photo album or keepsake box to go back and read whenever you need a pick me up!

Style The Display

A fun tablecloth, a large sign, some foliage, and a few decor pieces is all you’ll need to create a darling and simple display. Pick two colors, plus a metallic to keep things simple. Here I did coral, green, and gold. A few sprigs of greenery goes a long way, the color comes from the tablecloth and the frame instead of flowers!

SUPPLIES:

  • Large 8×10 Frame
  • Bright Tablecloth
  • Candle, Vase, Prop Decor
  • Holder For Advice Cards
  • Cute Pens
  • Greenery

Use Our SVG File To Cut Your Own Cards

Use our custom SVG “advice for the bride” file to create the sign… or just the leaves like I did here. Use the “contour” tool to hide the wording, drag to make the leaves larger and then cut them out of cardstock as the advice cards with your Cricut!

Use Our Printable File To Make Your Own Sign

Next use our matching, custom printable “advice for the bride” 8×10 sign to create the sign. I printed it with my laser printer and then added metallic gold and green foil using my Minc. If you don’t know about metallic foiling, see this post. Frame and display.

PHOTO TIP: many times with signs, glare is a major issue, so just leave the glass off! I did here and it’s the only way I got a pretty picture of the sign!
