Countdown the last 100 days until your wedding with this adorable paper chain! Use our printable designs available in our shop, or create your own to give yourself a mini celebration each day as your event nears. Use your favorite color of paper or maybe some paper that matches your wedding or home decor. Add special colored links into your chain to signify unique days like your bridal shower, engagement shoot, bachelorette party and more. Enjoy that each time you remove a link, you get closer to your big day!
Hang Somewhere Fun
There are many different ways you can display this darling chain for counting down. String around a doorway, tape to a wall, swag across your dresser… or maybe even hang it from the ceiling. Wherever it is, just make sure it’s easy to reach to remove a link each day.
- Home Printer (laser optional)
- 13 Sheets of 8.5″ x 11″ Cardstock
- Paper Trimmer
- Mini Stapler
- Minc and Foil, optional
- Our exclusive printable chain link designs available in our shop!
Print our designs onto 8.5″ x 11″ cardstock. There are 13 pages, 8 chain links per page. Use a regular inkjet printer for a black design or use a laser printer so you can Minc the numbers!
Add metallic foil to your laser printed numbers using your Minc and rose gold foil. If you’ve never heard of this before, start with this post!
Each chain link is designed to be cut to 1″ x 11″, trim each one using a paper trimmer. I printed mine in ombre pink.
From 1 – 100, assemble your paper chain. I love this little mini stapler and it worked perfectly for this project.
For fun, I finished the chain with a rose gold glitter link to signify the actual wedding day. You can do the same if you like the idea and you can also mark special days with the same glitter paper and/or add in your bridal shower, engagement shoot, bachelorette party and more into the countdown!
