I am Carli Hein from Hein & Dandy! I have always been obsessed with lapel pins, I collect them whenever we take a trip. You can put them on your purse, backpack, jean jacket, or pretty much anything you want! It can be expensive to have custom pins done so we created this inexpensive and fun way to treat your girls at your bachelorette party. Use the free printable we created just for you at the end of this post for our Cricut print and cut project!

MATERIAL SETTINGS
There is not a “shinky-dink” setting on our Cricut so we are going to use Acetate in the settings. Here are the perfect cut settings for this shrink film:
Set To: Acetate 350 Cut Pressure Plus “More” Cut Pressure 2x Cut Passes Deep Point Blade Strong Grip Mat
Print and Cut
The Design Space will put the black box around the designs for the print then cut and the adaptive tool system reads the box using a bright light so it cuts right where you need it to.
Design Space will prompt you to print the file first then follow the steps on your computer to pring on your printer then load on to your Cricut mat.
Shrink
Tear our your parchment paper and fold it in half to make a pouch to make sure that your project doesn’t get burnt in the oven.
Set your oven to 325˚ for 2.5 minutes, keep your eyes on the project as it shrinks!
SIZE + COLOR
Our design is a lot lighter when you first print it then after you shrink it. Each design shinks to about half the size of the design and the colors get twice as dark!
Glue
Heat up your glue gun and put a small dot on the flat part of the pin and place it on the center of the shrinked design and let cool.
These pins are a great idea for your bachelorette party for all your girls! Pin them on your canvas tote, beach bag, jean jacket, anything! So cute!
