This year will be our second time hosting Thanksgiving and my husband wants it to be our lifelong tradition. So each year I’ve decided to add a few small elements to my decor that I can use, year after year. Last year it was a special tablecloth, some cute twinkle lights, and a beautiful platter. This year it will be pretty pie servers, some pumpkin and turkey candle holders and decorative printable items. Today I’ve partnered with Canon to bring you my exclusive suite of printable Thanksgiving decor items that I created for my own family. A printable sign, seating cards, a banner, thankful cards, and my favorite ~ leftover bag tags! The designs are definitely a bit more modern and less typical than what is already out there because who really needs another printable turkey, not me. I’m using the new Canon 8.5″x11″ Double-Sided Matte Paper, which is why all the prints look so good!

Once you click on the graphic your download will start instantly, doing it from a laptop or desktop computer is best. There are 5 design files, including two blank designs that if you’re computer savvy, you can add your own text to!
Print: Use your favorite Canon printer to get the job done. Here I’m using my Canon PIXMA TS9521C Crafting Printer, it’s my everyday printer and my serious crafting printer, all wrapped up in one. The printer settings I’ve chosen are “rear tray”, media is “photo”, and the quality is “best”.
8×10 Thankful Print
All the designs here are printed using the new Canon 8.5″x11″ Double-Sided Matte Paper, which is my new favorite crafting paper! Combined with the quality of my Canon printer, in person these designs look store bought!
Print, cut to 8×10, and frame!
Seating Cards
Print the seating cards using the same settings as before and then trim down to size using a paper trimmer or scissors. Here I’m using a paper trimmer that also has a scoring blade to help me fold the cards. Then add your guests names!
Leftover Labels
Making leftover to-go items special and cute is something I absolutely LOVE doing. This year I got a pack of brown paper bags from Amazon and I’ll be adding a little greenery, tissue paper, and tag using an aqua clothespin. I’ll use Ziplock gallon bags to pack things for my guests and then they can take them to go in these adorable bags! I also printed stickers one year that you can grab here.
Happy Thanksgiving Banner
Same thing for the banner, print all 5 pages using the same settings and then cut out each letter. Hole punch the top and then string and hang somewhere fun. Ours will be outside on a wooden wall and I’m thinking I might add some aqua, orange, and green fringe banners behind it as well. You’ll see the picture of it on the wall below.
Thankful Cards
Last up, the thankful cards. There are four per 8.5″x11″ page. Print as many as you’ll need and maybe a few extra just in case. There are many ways to do this with your guests. You can have people fill them out and take them home, or read them allowed, or put them all in a bowl and pick one to read. I’m thinking it might be fun to save them for the entire year and read them all next year!
Double-Sided Matte Paper
