Dreamy DIY Rustic Woodsy Wedding in Pleasant Hill

“Joanne and Hosea met through a mutual friend on a night out. They were both going through a party phase and were not looking for anything serious, but as they hung out more their relationship also grew into something more!

It was important to Joanne and Hosea that they find an affordable wedding venue that would allow them to bring on their own vendors and so they can invite as many people as they’d like. They found an idyllic community center in Pleasant Hill which has a quaint ceremony gazebo and an indoor reception with a larger-than-life wall of windows.

They DIY’d many aspects of their wedding: friends officiated and played the ceremony music, they collected the materials needed for the drapery for their ceremony gazebo, made their own paper flower bouquets and centerpieces, personalized the bamboo flatware escort cards with guest names, provided their own decor for the centerpieces, set up their own bar, and their family made the cake!

They were able to have beautiful photos taken amongst the trees, have one of their favorite Chinese restaurants cater their dinner buffet. This party wouldn’t be complete without lots of dancing and partying the night away with all of their loved ones!” –Two Perfect Events
