Happy summer from me, Carli Hein from Hein & Dandy! At every wedding, I always see tapestries with quotes hanging on the walls, between trees, or anywhere as a backdrop. I wanted to make it the EASIEST to make so there is no sweat and a small budget. Cricut makes iron-on so easy to cut and easy press. Let’s get started making this super cute gold foil wedding quote tapestry for your wedding! The best part is when you are done with your wedding day, you can hang your new wall tapestry in your home! I hung mine above my bed.

SUPPLIES:

• Canvas Material
• Cricut
• Cricut Mat
• Cricut Gold Foil Iron-on
• Cricut Tools
• Cricut Easy Press
• Our FREE Cricut Cut File at the end of the post

Create in Design Space

Go to the end of this post and download the FREE Cricut cut files for this project. Download the .png file into your design space. You are going to want to add the file in twice, deleting parts of the design to fit your mat. Align the designs side by side in your design space with a height around 11 inches.

Let the Cricut Cut

Make sure that you mirror your image before cutting! Load your mat with the shiny side of the material down on the mat. Then it’s smooth sailing from here!

Weed the Design

The most satisfying part! Peel off the parts that you do not want to be ironed on, leaving just the quote left.

Easy Press

This is the part that I am the most excited for! This project is SO EASY with the Cricut Easy Press. There is an exact temperature and time so there is no guessing or fear that your project isn’t going to turn out perfect. The tapestry is 100% cotton so you will set your press to 295 degrees for 30 seconds.
