For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been “that friend”. No, not that one, the other one. You know, the one that always finds the best deals, unique items, and loves shopping on a budget.
No, really; I love shopping on a budget. I enjoy the challenge of stretching my money by tracking sales, finding dupes, and generally sourcing amazing items at affordable prices. In fact, it’s what I do on my website, Kendra Found It.
So today we’re starting something new and exciting at Something Turquoise: I’m sharing some of my favorite copycat decor dupes and look-alikes with you! I’ve shopped the Internet so you don’t have to; this is going to be a regular feature, so be sure to check back for all my latest and greatest finds.
1. Pottery Barn Lucca Chandelier Dupe
I actually found this copycat Pottery Barn chandelier for a friend and I couldn’t believe my eyes! She was doing a mini renovation to her dining room and loved the look of the Lucca Chandelier, but couldn’t afford the price. Wayfair’s version is incredibly close to being identical and is about 20% of the price.
2. Pottery Barn Amelia Wood Bead Chandelier Dupe
The Pottery Barn Amelia Wood Bead Chandelier is stunning, but it’s not exactly affordable. World Market’s draped wood bead chandelier has a leaner profile, but also a much leaner price. It would look beautiful in an entryway, above a bed, in a nursery, or as a chic detail in a home office.
3. McGee & Co. Wheaton Table Lamp Dupe
At just $20, Target’s Textured Wood Accent Lamp is an absolute home decor steal on its own; the fact that it looks so similar to McGee & Co.’s Wheaton lamp makes that deal even better. I purchased its sister lamp from the same collection and I’ve received nothing but compliments on it since the day I brought it home.
4. Restoration Hardware Nailhead Fabric Sidechair Dupe
This find was inspired by….me! I own these chairs from Restoration Hardware and love them; I purchased them at a deeply discounted rate from the RH Outlet and I’m asked all the time about them. I wanted to find a solid dupe that I could share with people when they want to know more about my chairs; at $101 each, you’ll save on the price without compromising the style.
5. Modway Madison White and Gold Office Desk Dupe
White and gold has been on-trend for a while now, so I knew I could find a dupe for this beauty of a desk if I really searched. I love the crisscross gold legs and actually prefer the overall look (and price) of the copycat version.
