Rustic DIY Wedding at Little Hills Ranch

“Euge and Joe’s wedding was marked by their deep love for one another and the genuine and strong support of their family and friends. It was a true joy to photograph these incredible relationships in the gorgeous outdoor setting of Little Hills Ranch. The details were simple because the real focus of the day was the couple, their deep love for one another, and the closeness and genuine joy expressed by their families and friends. The couple chose to forego traditional flower centerpieces with unique and creative DIY herb themed centerpieces and tables. But most impressive element by far, was the stunning wedding cake and dessert table crafted entirely by the bride’s Mom!” –Vivo Photography

What is your favorite wedding day memory?

I had the best and happiest feeling Going through our good luck/good bye tunnel toward our limo at the end of our big day surrounded by all of our friends and families smiling faces! The feeling of so much love and happiness and support all around us as we started towards our future together is a feeling I will never forget.

What did you DIY for your wedding?

My mom was our cake and dessert creator and really made it look and taste amazing with all of my favorite sweet treats from every era of my childhood/life. We also had my mother-in-law and her friend doing the floral arrangements which were done perfectly. I had two good friends do my hair and makeup because if someone is going to get paid for that, who better then the ones you love?! One of my best friends Emily Pasjuta made all of our signs around the venue which put a great personal touch. Our officiant was a family friend of ours and being married by him felt amazing, not to mention he is an actor so he did it so well!

Any advice for brides currently in the planning process?

Don’t stress, trust me it may just put you in the hospital. Start the planning process as soon as possible and utilize all of your resources. Don’t be afraid to ask for help and delegate tasks to different friends and family members. When it comes to choosing your bridesmaids there is no easy decision just make the best one for you. I have a very big group of close girl friends from high school and I opted to not choose a single one so no one would get hurt but including them in the bachelorette party and other things as well as making them honorary bridesmaids. Your real friends will still be there for you and stick by your side no matter what! Enjoy every moment and try to be present for every second because after all the months of planning the actual day goes by in a blink! – Eugénie, the Bride
