I am Carli Hein from Hein & Dandy, a DIY blog focused around every day life! Christmas is fast approaching and I am in the spirit! This DIY project has your winter wedding in mind and the aroma of Christmas in the air. Using fresh and dried ingredients we are going to make an all-natural simmering potpourri. Your guests will be able to take home the smell of Christmas right into their homes. This tutorial is so simple, we even provide the free adorable printable for each potpourri tag! Let’s get started on your very merry potpourri wedding favors!

Fill Bags

I added one orange slice, one cinnamon stick, one sprig, and a dash of cloves to each bag. You can always add more as the bag allows!

Add Folded Tag

Use glue tape on the two outside edges of the folded tag. Place tag over the bag so you can still see all the ingredients inside and close.

To use the potpourri just fill a small pot with water and place all the ingredients in the pot and bring to a simmer on the stove. This is a great way to make your house smell delicious and like Christmas without any chemicals, just fresh scents!
