“I spent a beautiful fall evening in Maine with Jillian and Tyler capturing their engagement photos! We had so much fun together exploring Pineland Farms in New Gloucester! We had the beautiful foliage and sunset to make our evening perfect! These two are truly amazing together and they also brought along their sweet pup, Ella to join in too! I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in Stowe, Vermont in the fall of 2020!

Tyler proposed to Jillian in September of 2017. Here is there story: “I can’t believe it’s already been that long. It was the day of our anniversary last year when Tyler proposed. We had plans to go to dinner together and when we were walking there, he asked if I wanted to take a picture in front of the capitol building in Concord (where we live). I thought it was strange, but I went along with it. When we walked over, there was a book leaning against the bell tower that had our picture on the front. We stood there as I read through the book filled with all our pictures together and messages from Tyler and slowly started to realize where it was going! It ended with one of our most recent photos together saying “I don’t want to take another picture together as boyfriend and girlfriend” and before I could comprehend what I was reading, Tyler got down on one knee! To top it all off, I turned around after saying yes of course, and both our families had been hiding the whole time!” –Rachel Cambell Photography

How did you find your photographer?

Tyler and I found out about Rachel after a high school friend posted engagement photos that were done by her. When we saw the photos, we were amazed by how beautifully she captures the love between two people and knew we had to have her take our engagement photos and capture our special day. We could not be happier with our decision!

What are you DIY-ing for your wedding?

Since our wedding is in September of 2020, we haven’t planned out all the small details, but we know we want to find ways to incorporate what is most meaningful to our relationship into our wedding. There are a few DIY ideas we have in mind involving our love for beer, the mountains and our sweet rescue pup!

Of all your wedding plans, what are you looking forward to the most

We are looking forward to celebrating our marriage with our amazing friends and family the most! The day before our wedding will be our 10 year anniversary and we have the most amazing people in our life who have supported us along our journey. We just want our wedding to be a big party celebrating the rest of our lives together! -Jillian, the Bride
