How did you find your photographer?

I met Lakyn through one of my clients, she got married a few weeks before Paul and I got engaged. Lakyn did an amazing job with my clients wedding and she was so sweet. I knew right away that Lakyn was going to be the photographer to capture my special day!

What are you DIY-ing for your wedding?

My parents have a design company and they are doing my invitations. My dad really wanted to build me something for my wedding as well, when he and my mom got married he built the arbor they got married under. I decided an arbor would be special. He is also making my cake for me as well, having him do so much has more sentimental value to me.

Of all your wedding plans, what are you looking forward to the most

My fiancé is an Eagle Scout and loves the outdoors, the venue we picked is a camp he grew up going to as a kid. There’s a lot of great memories from my soon-to-be husbands childhood there. It made perfect sense to get married there as well. -Taylor, the Bride
