Ya’ll know that I’m a keepsake gal, so I’m in love with this project super mega big time. I first shared this idea about 5 years ago and it’s always a reader favorite, year after year. So I partnered with Canon to bring you an updated version. Not only are we sharing eight different colorways but each print is also editable, and free! This is the perfect way to hold onto that special cork from your first bottle of bubbly as Mr & Mrs. Don’t keep it in a box or drawer where you’ll never see it and you might possibly lose it, give it a special frame like this!

8 Different Colors

We’re sharing eight beautiful shades of the “our first toast” printables. Brown, peach, pink, turquoise, gray, navy blue and black. I love them all, it’s really hard to pick my favorite even though one is turquoise! The frame choice really makes the color stand out, so you might want to go shopping with the print to help you choose!

We have 8 free printable cork keepsake frames designs, SO cute!

Download + Edit

First download the free font Retrocycles to be able to match our design. Click the graphic at the end of our post to download all 8 colors. Open up your choice of file using Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader to edit the names and date, then save.

Print

Print your custom file onto 8.5″ x 11″ Canon Matte Photo Paper, my favorite! SO many uses and the prints are always exquisite. I’m using my Canon PIXMA TS9521C Crafting Printer for this project and what I absolutely love about using both a Canon printer and paper is that I can set the printer to the exact paper I’m using, getting the best possible result from the print.

Cut To 5×7

Using scissors or a paper trimmer, cut your printable down to it’s 5″ x 7″ size. Every shadow box frame is different so mount the design to the frame however you see fit.

Attach

Using a hot glue gun, attach your special cork to the middle of the frame. Make sure to hold it until the glue cools and then frame!
