This ones for the love birds! Have your guests toss birdseed at you as you make your way back down the aisle as the new Mr & Mrs! Hand these darling packets out as your guests arrive to the ceremony, place one on each chair or have a basket of them at your ceremony entrance. Venue Approved

The birdseed toss has become popular for outdoor venues that don’t allow confetti or flower petals, it’s also the perfect replacement for rice. Birdseed is safe for grass and 99% of venues approve it for tossing!

Birdseed

Fill 3″ x 5.5″ glassine treat bags with about 1 ounce of birdseed, then fold a crease in the bag.

Ribbon + Label

This is the fun part! Cut about 10″ strips of ribbon and have them ready. Wrap around the glassine bag with the ends meeting on the top, then cover to seal with the sticker label! This step seals the bag, adds color, and adds the label with no extra taping or gluing required!

Ribbon For Color

The ribbon on this project is what adds the color and texture. Just make sure that it’s 1.5″ wide or less. It could be satin, grosgrain, stripped, etc… and should match the color of your wedding!
