“We go together like Salt & Pepper!” Me and my hubby sure do, in fact we’ve gone as that for halloween… #cheesy. If you share the sentiment and are planning a rustic, shabby chic affair – this is the perfect, memorable favor for your guests! Combine salt and pepper in one absolutely darling mason jar spice shaker and you have a thoughtful, usable and adorable gift to give! One that is sure to be talked about highly…
SUPPLIES:
- these darling Mason Jar Spice Shakers
- lots of salt
- lots of pepper
- cute twine
- mixing bowl and funnel
- scissors
- our FREE tag design download
- cardstock
Again, since Salt & Pepper always go together… here we are mixing them and putting them into the same shaker – genius right!? Pepper can overwhelm the salt a bit, so use less pepper than salt. However the exact mixture is going to be up to you – based on your taste – no science or measuring needed. Each mason jar shaker holds approximately 2/3 cup of spice.
Fill all your clean jars with your S&P mix…

Download our FREE, adorable tags above and print them onto the cardstock of your choice. I cut them into little flags and punched a hole in the top.
Tie a tag onto each jar… and your done!
Freaking adorable right!?! Now these little guys can get expensive because of the cost of the shaker, so I recommend giving one to each couple or family. That way they can refill as they please… and remember you and your special day every time they season their food ;)
