Simple DIY | painted plastic champagne cups

Are you planning a bridal shower or bachelorette party where you will be using these regular, boring, cheap champagne glasses?? Add a little flair by painting the bases gold! Or any other color for that matter! It’s super simple and takes hardly any time at all!

  • plastic champagne (wine, margarita, or martini!) glasses
  • Krylon Metallic Gold spray paint

STEP ONE: spray paint the individual cup bases.

STEP TWO: put the cups together and enjoy!

As with all our DIY tutorials, if you create one of our projects please send us a picture or a trackback – We Love Seeing Your Creativity! If you use Instagram or Twitter please share using the hashtag #SomethingTurquoiseDIY. Happy Crafting!

First, thank you for this beautiful idea & easy how to instructions. I'm a little worried because I planned to wrap these in bubble wrap to ship home for Christmas . I was planning to oven cure until I read your addendum. These look great. Thanks for sharing.
