This video is beyond adorable – it is definitely a must watch! I love everything… from Cassie’s smile to the amazing dip in the pool… I was seriously crying the first and second time I watched it! This wedding has so many fantastic DIY elements, my favorite being the mantle that they were married in front of – so romantic. Fantastic job by Adam Clark of Meet + Cute Films, thanks for sharing!

The cutest ‘first look‘ ever!

Any advice to those planning now?
My best advice to engaged couples is to document this exciting time in your lives! I kept a wedding journal where I wrote every detail (good and bad!) as it unfolded. Writing definitely helped me cope with the stressful parts of planning and recounting special memories like our engagement are already fun to reread. We took the journal on our honeymoon where we each recapped our favorite wedding memories and wrote about our travels. And when we got home we made a cute “When Harry Met Sally” kind of video where we discussed the whole wedding day…so fun! In terms of actual planning, one thing that helped us was sticking to three wedding priorities we set at the beginning of our engagement – beautiful venue, thoughtful ceremony and a festive reception.

Most memorable moment of your wedding day?
Our ceremony was painstakingly written with love by us and our officiant, so the ceremony in general was the absolute highlight. But if I had to pick one moment, it would be when we were announced as husband and wife at the end of the ceremony! Stevie Wonder’s “For Once in my Life” started playing and it was quite possibly the happiest moment in my life to date.
