the first look?

Most brides I talk to have very strong feelings about the ‘first look’. Either they love it or they hate it. For those of you who haven’t heard about this new tradition… it is a special time alone for the Bride and Groom, before the ceremony takes place, when the groom gets to see his bride for the very first time. Just like the images below explain.. it is a very special and touching time for the couple. A moment alone before the madness begins. I adore this new tradition and wish it was popular when I was married. Most of the time, the groom gets to see the bride for the first time from so far away… watching her walk towards him for what feels like forever. That can be such an emotional time, just looking at each other. Being able to have a second together, to take it all in before the walk down the isle can bring a calmness to your ceremony. Advice: Make sure you have two photographers for this moment, one on each side… to capture the looks on both your faces. Aren’t these ‘first looks‘ heart warming?
