When you’re planning a wedding… it seems like there is always someone to thank, pay or give a small gift to – from your vendors to your parents and bridal party. So, having an awesome (and easy to use) tool like this Gift Bag Punch Board will save you time and money – and make you look like a star! Armed with a piece of scrapbooking paper and ribbon, you can whip up an adorable bag in under 5 minutes. These bags are perfect for:

  • small gift and final payment for a vendor
  • bridal shower/wedding favors
  • bridesmaids gifts
  • special note inside to parents or groom on your wedding day
  • giving any gift, any time

Guess what!? We are giving one away this week!!!! Enter below!

  • We R Memory Keepers Gift Bag Punch Board
  • 12″ x 12″ scrapbooking paper
  • scrapbooking adhesive
  • ribbon
  • scissors and/or paper trimmer

You can make SO many different sized bags with this punch board, below are my favorite sizes so far… the only restriction is you MUST start with a 12″ x 12″ piece of scrapbooking paper.

This punch board makes creating a gift bag an absolute breeze. Follow their directions and in a few quick punches you will have a beautiful, professional looking gift bag.

Add the ribbon holes if you’d like…

Crease and fold on the lines…

Then assemble using your favorite scrapbooking adhesive.

So freaking cute, right!?

Make a tag for your bag!

Now here’s a fun little added extra that I came up with… this tag how-to is not in the directions! Cut a scrap piece of paper to 2″ x 2.5″. Place each tag edge at the yellow start line, all the way into the punch – and punch. Do this for each corner. Then place it into the hole punch and you’re done!

Quick, perfectly matching tags for your bags!

Now for the ribbon! Here are the perfect lengths for each sized bag:

  • Small Bag: 18″
  • Medium Bag: 20″
  • Large Bag: 22″

Flatten your bag, and holding the tag against the first hole – insert your ribbon. Then thread the other side and tie a knot on the back or on the inside of your bag.

Adorable right!?! Loving this paper? Find it {here}

Today we are celebrating Something Turquoise’s 100th DIY post ~ yeah!!!!!! In honor of this milestone, the Editors at Martha Stewart kindly donated a HUGE collection of my favorite Martha Stewart Crafts supplies to be given away to one very lucky, crafty Bride-to-be!!!

Let’s talk about my favorite crafting tools that you will have a chance to win ~ this entire set is valued at over $200.00!!!!!! I have used every single one of these tools in at least one of our DIY tutorials. All of these products are from Martha Stewart Crafts and if you have read my blog at all, you probably already know that I’m obsessed with everything Martha… so here we go;

Paper Trimmer: this is an absolute must for any crafty bride! What I love about this trimmer is that it’s space efficient and you can buy replacement blades to keep your edges sharp!

Paint: hello, the best craft paint on the market and you get a whole set

Glue Gun: little and hot, this gun needs to be in your craft holster!

Brushes: high quality and every size you’ll need, these fine bristles won’t fall off in your paint

Pouncers: my fav! the best way to paint glass and stencils – you will love these

Glitter Set: some say girls were born with glitter in their veins… or at least I was – this is the finest grade, most sparkly glitter that you will be able to find and you get the whole set

Crafters Clay: this air dry clay has so many fab wedding uses – it dries to such a lightweight consistency – you have to experience it to know how simple it is to use!

New Punches: not only will you get the amazing new circle punch and extra design, but you will also get a punch around the page set and a new layering punch… love!!!

Scissors: amazing and sharp, you will get tons of use out of these!

Not Pictured: a beautiful pad of craft paper, a notebook from Martha’s office line, glittering glue… and a few other little SomethingTurquoise goodies!

You must be engaged to win! Please leave a comment below with your name, wedding date and an explanation of why you would love to win all these fabulous crafting supplies! **Here’s the catch, since this set is so valuable we are going to make you work for it! To win, you need to connect one of these craft items with one of our projects! We have used all of these items in at least one of our DIY tutorials, most – many more, and we want you to give us an example of what tutorial we have used what tool in: ie. – today’s project uses three: the paint, paper trimmer and brushes! You can’t use that example though – haha!

Entries end at midnight on 7/11/13 and the winner will be announced here and on Facebook next DIY Friday, July 12th!!! Good luck and happy crafting!!! *If we do not hear back from the prospective winner within one week another winner will be chosen.
