We have some super awesome and very exciting news to share with you today! Something Turquoise has been chosen to be a part of the first ever, Lifestyle Crafts new design team called Lifestyle Crafts Studios… obviously we are on the wedding team – yay!!! So this means at least once a month we will be sharing a special project using their awesome tools and supplies.. along with bringing you some great giveaways and coupon codes, like the 20% code below!

Today’s project is just down right adorable… how to simply make this party flag cake topper for your wedding cake or maybe even a very special birthday cake!

  • Lifestyle Crafts Evolution Machine
  • Lifestyle Crafts ‘Party Flag Inserts‘ cutting dies
  • your choice of fun cardstock (cut to 6″ wide – and up to 12″ long)
  • lollipop sticks
  • Sharpie paint pen

Place your ‘party flag’ designs onto the die cut platform for the Evolution machine. Place your paper (6″ x 12″), design face down over the die cuts, then cover with the platform top. Place into the machine and roll it through…

ST_DIY_Flag_Cake_Topper_Wedding_0003.jpg seconds you will have these absolutely adorable party flags! This is one step cutting at it’s best… you don’t even have to cut the stick slits, they are done for you!

Write a few special sentiments on a couple of the flags…

Carefully slide your lollipop sticks through the little slits in each flag…

We used: 4″, 6″, 8″ and 11.75″ lollipop sticks. However, you can always purchase the longest ones and cut them down accordingly… aren’t they just adorable!

Place them into your special cake and you’re done! Such a fun alternative to your regular wedding cake topper… and so easy to make!

So pretty! I love those colors together. You have super nice handwriting by the way. I probably would have thrown out a bunch before mine could look that nice. Haha!
