How did you find your photographer?

I actually found my photographer Robby through my florist, Jaelynn with Urban Rubbish. Someone I work with recommended Urban for floral and Jaelynn recommended me to Robby with Ten 23 Photography and my coordinator, Heather with Epoch Co. I jokingly say I have the “Dream Team”. Robby has such a creative eye and really brought the engagement photos to life. I feel very fortunate to be working with such an amazing group and love them all!

What are you DIY-ing for your wedding?

For the wedding we are planning to integrate many of our personal surf and paddle boards to use as tables for cake, guest sign-in book and drink tables. We are also planning to have our wedding at a Mediterranean style beach house on the water rather than a true event venue. It was important to us to create a very homey and comfortable wedding with our close family and friends around us.

Of all your wedding plans, what are you looking forward to the most?

I am mostly looking forward to getting all dressed up and starting the rest of my life with Michael while being surrounded by all of our closest family and friends. We have been engaged since December of 2017 and planning has been a lot of down time and waiting to get closer. I am finally starting to get excited to see all the fine details come together and the image I created come alive. I am probably most excited for the live acoustic musician that will be playing during the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner. We both live music and this was important to us. I can’t wait to put my dress on and have the best night of my life with my forever best friend. -Mary, the Bride
