Styled Glamping Wedding in the Colorado Rockies

“The inspiration for the shoot was pulled from the tipi located on the property and the starry night sky. Gold accents were integrated throughout with large statement jewelry, envelopes for the invitations, and gold silverware dipped with navy handles. The woody elements were also a large inspiration piece. Because of the setting, we wanted to play off the log look. You will find this natural element on the cake, throughout the tablescape, and even on the bride’s necklace. The pond’s dock was selected as the ceremony site. You will find a unique shaped arch covered in greens and the ground scattered with brass candle holders. The adventurous couple wanted to get into the boat near the pond and these images will remind you of the Notebook! The venue is located on a ranch in the heart of the Colorado Rockies, in Gunnison. On the property, you will find a hand-painted tipi, a large pond, a fish house, a gypsy wagon turned into a reading nook, a well-manicured lawn perfect for a large event tent, colorful flower beds, and acres of hay fields. It’s just five minutes North of Gunnison and can be rented for events. Gunnison is a small mountain town that sees many destination weddings June through September of each year. The models are currently engaged and are in the midst of planning their April 2018 wedding. Both grew up in Texas and moved to the laid-back town of Crested Butte, Colorado five years ago.” –Lucky Penny Event planning
