“I was completely smitten with Karlie and Abner’s sense of adventure from the start. It’s always a humbling feeling when people tell you “Whatever you want to do, we trust you.” We met at Richardson Beach Park where Karlie grew up playing on this beach and these lava rocks. A little while into shooting Karlie noticed that the tide was low and asked if I would want to go up on the rocks and shoot, my heart definitely skipped a beat I was so excited. I love how beautiful the Theia dress flowed and fanned on the black lava rocks. It truly made our sweet Karlie look like a real life mermaid! Grace Flowers Hawaii completely knocked it out of the park with the bouquet and boutonnière. I loved how bright and colorful the eclectic flowers are but slightly sultry with the deep navy velvet wrap and maroon buds. It definitely felt like a true Hawaiian bouquet.” –Molly Weir Photography
