The whole day was incredible… everyone told me it would be the best day ever and it truly was. One of my favorite memories was reading our vows to each other. They were lighthearted and meaningful, and we’ll forever remember the range of emotions we felt sharing them with each other! We also had a blast dancing the whole night away!
What did you DIY for your wedding?
I did the signage, menus, programs, invites, save the dates and website. My Mom crafted all of the wedding favors and welcome bags and my Mother-in-Law handmade my veil, did all of my dress alterations and made my bridesmaids robes to wear while getting ready!
Did you have a something old, new, borrowed and blue?
Somewhat… I had a coin from my Mom’s side of the family which was old and borrowed, my dress was new and my shoes were blue!
Any advice for brides currently in the planning process?
Relax!!! I tried to keep a good perspective while planning – I had found my perfect match and was getting to marry my best friend! Also, don’t pick a venue/caterer that is at the top of your budget. We went with a venue that was on the low end of our budget and it gave us a lot of flexibility {and no financial stress!} with the rest of the planning process. -Tori, the Bride
