What is your favorite wedding day memory?

It’s hard to pick just one! The entire day was perfect! Standing up in front of family and friends saying our vows is a moment we’ll never forget. Brendan’s uncle did an amazing job officiating our wedding. Another moment that I love replaying is our first dance. I was SO nervous but it ended up being a really special!

What did you DIY for your wedding?

Having been a Bridesmaid in five {!!!} weddings the summer prior to my own wedding, my friends were very helpful on the DIY front. We collected old white frames and had our parents, Grandparents and siblings wedding pictures displayed. We also had hand painted gold table markers. For wedding favors, we had match boxes designed in our wedding colors for our guests to take home.

Did you have a something old, new, borrowed and blue?

I had everything except for something blue! My something borrowed was my Nana’s gold bracelet that she wore on her wedding day. My something old was my Nana’s lace handkerchief that we tied around my bouquet {my mom did the same thing at her wedding!} and lastly, my something new was my wedding dress and shoes.

Any advice for brides currently in the planning process?

Just have fun! It can be stressful at times, but remember that everything works out the way its meant to. -Sarah, the Bride
