“The couple featured in this shoot wanted to do an anniversary shoot in their original wedding attire at their original wedding venue and feature their friend’s old classic car. So the day of the shoot, the groom was driving the car to the venue and the car broke down about 20 minutes from the venue. Long story short, we weren’t able to do the shoot that day because we ran out of light having to get the car towed and taken care of. The bride was so sad because she had her hair and make-up done and she was so looking forward to the shoot! So to lift her spirits, we decided to reschedule the shoot for her birthday a month later and make it a mini-styled shoot! I have some dear friends in the wedding industry that contributed their talents for this shoot and we pulled it together just in time! The bride and groom laughed the whole time, mainly because the groom kept striking silly poses to make his bride laugh! He even brought his car so we could still incorporate some car shots into the shoot. The colors we chose gave the shoot a romantic, soft look – which we love! We hope you enjoy the vintage serenity and blush inspiration!” –Kira Nicole Photography
