Every year around this time, I take a week off from blogging, I unplug completely (which is not easy) and go beach camping in San Clemente – and that’s this week! It’s one of my most favorite vacations because it’s truly relaxing. I know what you are thinking camping, relaxing? It is the way we do it. We’ve got all the best camping gear; a huge tent, queen blow up mattress, 600 thread count sheets, great chairs, a custom table cloth, solar twinkle lights… I could go on and on… basically it’s called Glamp-ing – glamorous camping. We have been camping at this spot for 15+ years, we have our routine down and we just adore the town itself. We bring snacks and booze, but we eat out almost every meal… he he he, and that’s the best part. We spend a relaxing day on the beach and then go out at night – it’s a blast. I’ll be looking forward to plugging back in at the end of the week and catching up with the world, but until then – I have some champagne to drink and some sun to soak in!
