How did you find your photographer?

As we all know.. a picture is worth a thousand words. Knowing that pictures are what spark our memory, choosing a photographer was something super important to Tyler and I! I had researched through the web, magazines, and even talked to many references trying to find the perfect photographer for our wedding. We had a difficult set of criteria when picking our photographer including staying in budget, videographer had to be from the same vendor, and personality from the people behind the camera. After feeling as if we could not meet all of our criteria, I stumbled upon Dot & Anchor Photography and feel very lucky to have her as a vital part of our big day!

What are you DIY-ing for your wedding?

Not only does DIY-ing your wedding help with a wedding budget, but it allows for your personality to shine through. We chose a venue that is giving us a blank canvas, allowing us the freedom to decorate and plan however we want. Keeping a rustic, shabby-chic feel, we are DIY-ing all of the decorations for the ceremony and reception including the flowers, centerpieces, and even the photobooth. I have all of my closest family and friends to thank for helping me DIY my dream wedding!

What are you looking forward to the most?

After all of the chaos of planning and preparing for our wedding day, I am looking forward to seeing Tyler during our “first look” the most. This is such a raw and special moment that we want to share together. Brittny will be there to capture the beautiful emotion and happiness. This will be a moment we will never forget! – Andrea
