We have some very exciting news to share today!!! The last NotWedding of the season is in less than two weeks, at the beautiful Sea Crest Beach Hotel in Cape Cod, MA and Something Turquoise will be there!!! We are making a few little DIY projects for the event (one of which we are sharing tomorrow!) and we’ll be taking over The NotWedding’s social media for the night! Here at ST, The NotWedding is by far our favorite of all bridal shows… if you haven’t heard of it yet you need to check it out! Cape Cod here we come!!!

Complete with dinner and drinks, an emotional ceremony and a dance-party reception, The NotWedding has become a killer alternative to a bridal show. The hand-selected vendors perform their services as they would at a real wedding, and the “wedding guests” get to hear the music, taste the cakes, and smell the flowers… while enjoying a night of great food, dancing and surprises, leaving brides-to-be saying “I want my wedding to be just like that!”. For brides and grooms, the event serves as a source of inspiration, a resource in finding trusted wedding vendors and an emotional reminder to plan for what comes after the wedding: a marriage!

Jamie of Cape Cod Celebrations coordinated and designed the following ‘Save the Date’ shoot with Chris and Peyton (our Cape couple!) featuring some of the fantastic Cape Cod vendors… aren’t they just darling!!! Each NotWedding couple is already married and are simply renewing their vows.

I wish I could tell you to go buy tickets for the fabulous Cape Cod event but it’s SOLD OUT! However, I am very excited to tell you that they already have next years schedule and there are plans for 21 events all across the country, check it out!
