..I’m going to try and DIY a few things but med school will be limiting my ambitions. We will be making our invitations, programs, a flower petal aisle runner, paper flower napkin rings, wine bottle candle holder centerpieces, doily chinese lanterns, and the arch for our ceremony. My future mother-in-law is a genius when it comes to crafts and my parents are great at carpentry. I’m thankful to have a lot of great family and friends that are willing to help out…

..The wedding will be in my hometown of Jefferson City, MO at the Red Barn. When I first saw the Red Barn, I instantly fell in love. The ceremony will be outside in a grassy meadow overlooking a lake (pending the weather) with my oldest brother, Bryan, as the officiant.   I’m really looking forward to our reception because I love our theme – a simple, country wedding with lots of dancing and fun! We will have washers to play, fried chicken for dinner, and smore’s as a good night snack.
