ST_100th_diy-giveawayST_martha_stewart_crafts_giveawayST_towin

Let’s talk about my favorite crafting tools that you will have a chance to win ~ this entire set is valued at over $200.00!!!!!! I have used every single one of these tools in at least one of our DIY tutorials. All of these products are from Martha Stewart Crafts and if you have read my blog at all, you probably already know that I’m obsessed with everything Martha… so here we go;

Paper Trimmer: this is an absolute must for any crafty bride! What I love about this trimmer is that it’s space efficient and you can buy replacement blades to keep your edges sharp!

Paint: hello, the best craft paint on the market and you get a whole set

Glue Gun: little and hot, this gun needs to be in your craft holster!

Brushes: high quality and every size you’ll need, these fine bristles won’t fall off in your paint

Pouncers: my fav! the best way to paint glass and stencils – you will love these

Glitter Set: some say girls were born with glitter in their veins… or at least I was – this is the finest grade, most sparkly glitter that you will be able to find and you get the whole set

Crafters Clay: this air dry clay has so many fab wedding uses – it dries to such a lightweight consistency – you have to experience it to know how simple it is to use!

New Punches: not only will you get the amazing new circle punch and extra design, but you will also get a punch around the page set and a new layering punch… love!!!

Scissors: amazing and sharp, you will get tons of use out of these!

Not Pictured: a beautiful pad of craft paper, a notebook from Martha’s office line, glittering glue… and a few other little SomethingTurquoise goodies!

You must be engaged to win! Please leave a comment below with your name, wedding date and an explanation of why you would love to win all these fabulous crafting supplies! **Here’s the catch, since this set is so valuable we are going to make you work for it! To win, you need to connect one of these craft items with one of our projects! We have used all of these items in at least one of our DIY tutorials, most – many more, and we want you to give us an example of what tutorial we have used what tool in: ie. – today’s project uses three: the paint, paper trimmer and brushes! You can’t use that example though – haha!

Entries end at midnight on 7/11/13 and the winner will be announced here and on Facebook next DIY Friday, July 12th!!! Good luck and happy crafting!!! *If we do not hear back from the prospective winner within one week another winner will be chosen.

Cara
July 5, 2013

Hello! My name is Cara, and our wedding is 11/8/13 in Jamaica! I love this site because so many of the ideas use our wedding colors: aqua and fuschia. I'm addicted to craft punchers and glitter. I'd love to use the Martha Stewart craft paints to paint the bottom soles of my wedding shoes as you did with the "Something Blue" shoes. I'd like to use the glitter to make some champagne flutes like you did previously, as I created glitter champagne bottles for "Be My Bridesmaid?" gifts. Love the whole set, and I'm sure I could come up with sooo many uses for all the items!

July 5, 2013

Oh I love Martha Stewart Craft supplies. Even if there is a cheaper alternative I'll pick the MS supply just because I like her packaging.

Anyway, my name is Ashley Reed and my wedding date is 6/7/14. I would like to win these items because crafting is just fun, but spending the money on the supplies is not. Plus, Martha Stewart is the bomb.com. One of my favorite MS DIYs you've done is the glittered glass jars - so simple, but makes a big impact. I'm planning on doing an adaptation for my own reception!

Anyway, in the tutorial you used the Martha Stewart Glitter and the paper trimmer (and some scissors, but they don't appear to be the MS ones pictured above).

July 5, 2013

Hi I'm Allison and I will be getting married fall of 2014. I love DIY things so I will definitely be incorporating that into my wedding.

I used your glam champagne tutorial to make bridesmaid glasses for my "will you be my bridesmaid?" boxes. The Martha Stewart craft glitter paint and foam pouncers were really easy to use. Thanks for all the great bridal inspiration!

My name's Krista and I am having a Destination Wedding in Jamaica on January 11th, 2014. I am DIYing a lot of my wedding to help save $ where I can (plus, it is way fun!!). Your tutorials have been so helpful and thank you for the chance at this giveaway. It would totally help me be able to make my crafty wedding dreams a reality!

In your painted something blue- wedding shoes tutorial you used the Martha Stewart Paint Brushes which are pictured above! You also used one of the Martha Stewart paints and their paint tape. :)

You used the Martha Stewart glue gun in your seashell seating card DIY ;)

Victoria Amon

My name is Victoria Amon we are getting married 09/14/2013! I've already done your DIY Will You Be My Bridesmaid #3 and my ladies loved it! Christy
July 7, 2013

I'm Christy and our wedding date is just over a year away (!) on June 28, 2014. I would love to win this generous giveaway because as a budget bride, I will be doing lots of DIY. I also am pretty crafty so this would help me stun my guests with some homemade yet professional-looking touches.

The paper trimmer will especially be useful and I love what you did for the DIY Seed Bomb Wedding favors!

Jennifer
July 7, 2013

Hi, I'm Jennifer and I don't have a wedding date...yet. I just got engaged on Friday night! I'm budget-conscious and creative at heart, and I can't think of a better way to celebrate and to get excited about the year ahead than with a set like this to get me started. After all, nothing says love (and Independence day) like a glue gun! I think I'll start with the "Will You Be My Bridesmaid Ringboxes." Just the beginning of what's to come.

Happy Fourth, everyone! It certainly was for me.

Our wedding is fastly approaching, 9/7/13. I love all things DIY and they will definitely be highlighted at our wedding. I have completed quite a few so far but would love to use these crafts to add a few more. The paints have been used in a few different projects, by my favorite was the something blue shoes soles.

July 8, 2013

Our wedding is Sep 7, 2013 right around the corner! I was looking at your website for last minute ideas and I love the wedding madlibs! Anyway, I digress. I would love to win these crafting tools and gift them to my maid of honor who is the true DIY queen (I am only a wannabe) and has helped so much with all of the wedding planning. The example craft with the pouncer I found is the 'Just Married’ Car Window Glass Cling. Very cute and a small detail I totally forgot until I was looking for a good example for the contest! ha!

Thanks!

July 9, 2013

I'm Christina and I'm getting married on April 11, 2015. We are having a long engagement so we can do many projects ourselves! That is why I would love to win this giveaway. Obviously there are so many different projects that you have done that you have used these items. My absolute favorites are the Painted "Something Blue" Sole Shoes (paint and paint brushes used), Seashell Seating Cards (glue gun), and the Glitter Glass Jars (glitter and scissors of course). Love your site!

Cathy Ye
July 9, 2013

My name is Cathy and my wedding date is 9/6/2014! I have lots of DIY projects planned, but I actually found Something Turquoise before I was even engaged - I've made the DIY glitter champagne glasses just for fun! Those glasses used the Martha Stewart glitter craft paint (nothing else compares!) and the pouncers.

I'm planning on DIYing a large portion of my wedding - from using a paper trimmer to put together invitations, punching out paper decorations for menus and programs, to DIYing all the flowers out of crepe paper (using a Martha tutorial, of course)! I would love to win this contest and put all these supplies to beautiful use!

Thanks!

The day of our wedding is 10.19.13. With a few months to go, I needed some simple but personal DIY projects. The easy reception chair signs are going to be my final project for the wedding. The paper trimmer will be super handy (as well as the craft paper). Love Martha Stewart products and hoping to win the tools to work on other projects, both pre and post wedding. Thanks!

Katie
July 11, 2013

My name is Katie and our wedding date will be in Winter 2015! I’m just at the beginning of my wedding planning and I hope I win so I can start crafting for a DIY winter wedding. :)

The paper punch will help me make hand punched save-the-date invitations and “Mr & Mrs” chair signs, while the paint can be used for silkscreen tote bags and painting my shoes “something blue”! I plan to use the glam champagne-glass project in my “Will you be my bridesmaid?” boxes, and I will also try my hand at using the Crafter’s Clay to make stamped ombre clay escort ornaments! Just perfect for a winter wedding.

Somethingturquoise is my favorite bridal inspiration website, and this is the perfect giveaway for me to try all my DIY dreams!
