“Eric and Kasey were married this past summer in their home town, but they currently live in NYC. I was thrilled to capture their love in the big apple the winter after they tied the knot. We were so fortunate to get a 60 degree day in January! Kasey is such a classic beauty and Eric puts such a sweet sparkle in her eye. Her Christian Louboutin pumps were a gift from Eric, seriously sweet!” – Meg Miller Photography

“There were so many amazing memories made on our wedding day, it was literally the best day of our lives! Everyone told me before I got married to make sure I stopped to take in and remember 3 specific things about my wedding day as we would look back and the entire day would be one big blur. I took their advice and, among many other things, here’s what I vividly remember. 1). The look on Eric’s (my husband) face when he came into my line of sight walking down the aisle. So cliche, but the world stopped. I heard nothing and saw nothing but him. 2). Stopping for a moment on the dance floor to look around only to see every single person I love in this world surrounding us and celebrating our love. Not often does that happen. 3). Running under sparklers to our getaway car, climbing in, and looking at each other for the first time completely by ourselves as husband and wife.

…Eric and I got married in Virginia (where I am from) but we live in New York City. Our wedding was elegant and southern, which we wanted,  but after we got married, we decided we wanted to also capture “our wedding” in the city we love. We had worked with photographer Meg Miller for our engagement session in NYC and she did an INCREDIBLE job so we reached out to her again to do this session for us. Meg has the ability to really photograph all the moments you want to remember. She had so many brilliant ideas for this session and made it so easy and fun for Eric and I to re-live our wedding day!

…Honestly, remember to breathe and enjoy the process.  At the end of the day, this celebration is all about you and your life partner to be.  In all the decisions you have to make throughout the planning process, things can get stressful.  Take it all in stride and stay focused on the most important part of it all – marrying your best friend!  The day will be filled with the most love you’ve ever felt and after it’s all over, that’s the only thing you’ll remember!” – Kasey, the bride
