“Wendy and Vince wanted a shabby chic romantic engagement shoot filled with light and sun. We got so lucky getting a shimmer of sunlight in Seattle in October! Vince and Wendy have known each other since high school and reconnected with each other at the gym years later. They started dating and fell in love! I’ve never seen a woman smile so brightly than when Vince picked Wendy up to swing her around. We spent the day walking around Seattles Magnusen Park and found an old building to use as well as the foggy rolling hills and lake Washington. Congrats Vince and Wendy! – Brittany, of Blue Rose Photography
“Vince and I went to high school with Brittany. We noticed her posting some great photos on Facebook under her company Blue Rose Photography. When we finally emailed her inquiring about her pricing we were surprised to find that for her quality of work she was very affordable. We did the engagement shoot at Magnuson Park in Seattle. It was our first time doing a photo shoot together, so we didn’t know what to expect. Brittany was awesome and walked us through the whole thing and made of feel very comfortable. We were thrilled by her finished product and will be using her services for years to come!
…Our wedding was on Oct. 26th of 2012, and we pretty much did everything ourselves. Doing a wedding on a budget is a lot of work, and it turned out beautiful. One of the major things we did ourselves was the flowers. We ordered the flowers online from Costco and came up with a design we liked by looking at pictures online. There were stems and leaves everywhere and you couldn’t see my kitchen floor, but they turned out perfect and saved us a ton of money.
…Of all our wedding plans I was looking forward to our first dance the most. We came up with a funny routine to shock our guests! No one was expecting it, especially from my quiet and reserved husband. It turned out to be a hit. We think creating your own special moment is important for a wedding. The weeks of practicing helped us to laugh during all the wedding planning craziness. – Wendy, the bride
