From the beautiful bride, “We held our wedding in a location that had significant meaning to us. It’s a place I have been coming since I was a child and it is a space that Joe and I have come alone, and with friends and family. It represents peace, solace and love for us. I had my bridesmaids choose any green dress. My only direction was that it had to be a green found in nature. Joe and I try to approach things with relaxed minds, holding things gently, so they are able to move on their own in organic directions. In this way, we are rarely disappointed with results, only surprised and delighted by them…
…Our ceremony was held in an opening among the tall pines overlooking the Connecticut River. It was the kind of overcast day where the sky radiates light evenly, the sun infusing the clouds rather then being shrouded by them. Our dear friend Johanna officiated the ceremony with ease and composure, it was as if the love and support of each person was discernible in the air…
…We had a old typewriter out that we had used to make our invitations where people could write us words of advice and cheers. Although unintentional, it turned out that the night of our wedding was also the Harvest Moon, which was such an auspicious happening! After the after party, we went down to the river and skinny dipped under that immense, bright moon!
