I have such a terrific DIY wedding to share with you today! Joe and Sarah were married last June at the romantic Radonich Ranch in Los Gatos, California. The bride and groom were intensely involved in crafting their wedding to fit their personalities. From designing and printing their own invitations to home brewing the adorable beer favors… they truly DIY-ed their wedding! What was the favorite part of your wedding day…? It’s so hard to narrow down a specific moment, because there were so many great ones!  There was just so much happiness and laughter, that is what I remember most vividly.  I just felt so lucky to be celebrating with so many of our friends and family in a beautiful location, with great music, and delicious food and drinks!  Looking around seeing everyone having so much fun, relaxing, and enjoying themselves made me feel like our day was perfect.

What advice do you have for current brides….?  Don’t take your wedding celebration too seriously, and don’t feel badly about skipping traditions that don’t feel authentic to you.  If you give yourself DIY projects to complete, make sure they are things you will enjoy doing and can execute well.  Think about your vendors carefully, and choose people you want to support and whose work you respond to.  And, of course, try to have fun and enjoy yourself while you’re in the planning process!
