Last Saturday, I was fortunate enough to attend a ‘blogger’ event called The SoCal Social. A time to meet local bloggers, shop, relax, chat and enjoy beautiful Old Town Orange. Thrown by these three super bloggers below: Beverly from Flamingo Toes, Vivienne from the V-Spot, and Holly from 504 Main. They sure know how to throw a fantastic bash…
When we checked in, they handed us beautiful personalized necklaces…
Then we walked and shopped down adorable Glassell Street… doing a ‘Swag Walk’. We had personalized SoCal Social bags to carry around and as we visited each store on our trip, they had specific ‘swag’ they handed out! From earrings to Martha Stewart Craft Paint… we cleaned up! Here are just a few of the fab stores that were on our journey… {two picture below via Flamingo Toes}
The Tea Leaf Cottage, Fresh Produce… and Affaire de Coeur…
Then we have Down Home Antiques, Eikon Home, and the beautiful Paris in a Cup Tea House…
Then we were off the the Heavenly Hostess… so much fun!
… a few more pics from the Tea Leaf Cottage and last but not least The Bruery… which my husband and I will definitely be returning to…
Our fantastic lunch was at the Filling Station. Where we spent the rest of our time relaxing, eating, laughing, and taking photo’s in my wonderful Father’s photobooth called Shutter Nonsense. They had lots of special giveaway’s for us along with delicious cupcakes from Miss Priss, but the cherry on the top of the day was our guest speaker, creative genius Mark Montano. Not only did he hang out with us all day, and answer all our crafting questions… but he brought each of us a copy of his brand new craft book; The Big Ass Book of Crafts 2!
My Dad and I were super excited about trying out this new chalkboard background we made last week, and it worked perfectly. I loved it and everyone else seemed to as well. I made lots of new blog friends: Susan from Living with Punks and Nina from Momma Go Round…
Aimee from Fancy Little Things, and Andrea from The Train to Crazy…
Then we headed back to the Heavenly Hostess for a Martini After Party with the fabulous Cynthia… who had all of us dress up with her amazingly hilarious party gear… what a fantastic day! {images below via Flamingo Toes}
Thanks so everyone who made this day so fun and inspiring… see you all on the web!
