I am so excited to share today’s beautiful wedding from the extremely talented Jenna of Red, White, and Green Photography. Her images have so much life in them. They are truly fine art.
“Chris and Lauren were married at Myers Park Methodist Church and their reception followed at the incredible Mint Museum Uptown. I don’t even know how these two did it, but somehow their wedding was this amazing dichotomy of traditional and modern. I love the feeling inside the bride’s room at Myers Park Methodist…you can so easily picture a bride in the 1940’s putting on her dress in this room. It’s dripping with history. Lauren grew up going to this church…call me sentimental, but I think there is something sweet about walking down the aisle of a church whose pews you’ve sat in so many times. Lauren’s modern dress and shiny accessories were so beautiful on such a timeless backdrop.” – Jenna Trapasso.
This shot of her touching her beautiful sash is my all time favorite.
I love this sequence of them leaving the church…
“Lauren and Chris, their families, and bridal party rode on a trolley to The Mint Museum where their wedding evening turned into this modern shin-dig with some old school jams being played by The New South Players. If Lauren and Chris have children, expect to see these kids busting moves somewhere because they will have some serious genes!” -Jenna
“The night ended with Chris and Lauren’s guests sending them off through a tunnel of flying ribbons into this vintage car… and my favorite part: Lauren changed into her mom’s wedding dress that she had altered to fit her!” -Jenna
