15 Festive Ideas To Add A Touch Of Christmas To Your Wedding

Happy Holidays, ladies and gentlemen, it’s Lauren Koster from Lauren Koster Creative. Are you sick of all things holiday yet, or do you just soak it all in? If you’re a December bride, my guess is that you’re in the later camp. I myself am a big Christmas fan! I love the lights, the music, the trees, the snow, all of it! But when I set out to design a December wedding, I don’t want the day to feel overly Christmas or themed. It’s lovely to take photos in the snow, drape garland around the venue and naturally, use twinkle lights, but in my designs, I like to keep it subtle. You can add a little Christmas (right this very minute) with out going over board. Greenery is a HUGE trend in weddings right now, adding some garlands or wreaths is the perfect way to add seasonal flair to your day. Below are some festive ideas to add touches of holiday spirit with out crossing over in to “theme” territory. I am obsessed with the bouquet below. It’s an amazing use of a poinsettia flower that does not feel Christmasy in the least. Keep scrolling to see the rest of my ideas.
