How did you find you photographer?

I saw Mackenzie’s work from a wedding of my Mom’s friend and I instantly fell in love!

What are you DIY-ing for your wedding?

My Grandmother has a cabin on Flathead Lake, MT. This has been my favorite place for as long as I can remember. Through the help of many friends and family we are working together to turn her property into a wedding venue. This is taking extra steps in the landscaping, creating, prepping and transforming. I am also working with a event planner from my hometown to hand dye table linens, gold foil bottles {and basically everything else}, and create hand crafted centerpieces and backdrops. She is creating quite the vision for my big day!

What are you looking forward to the most?

Arts and crafts are a huge hobby of mine. I am so excited to spend some girls nights DIY-ing and crafting for my decor and gifts for those involved. It has been such a joy to work with people and vendors willing to create all your dreams and give you the best day possible. Having two families and all our friends be together in one place to celebrate us is more than I could ever ask for. -Shelby, the bride
