“We had so much fun working on this styled shoot along with Alex, who is a wedding planner at the venue, Galway Downs in Temecula, CA. As someone who works on weddings regularly, we see so many different colors and styles, but gold has always been an all time favorite of Alex.

The inspiration for this shoot came from Alex’s love of all things gold and sparkly! She wanted to pair the gold with a pop of color, so I chose the rich emerald jewel tone! The elegant combination of the two colors gives off a lot of warmth and richness. Overall we wanted to keep all the details pretty simple to let the emerald and gold colors shine! Alex mixed ivory and emerald tablecloths for some dimension, and had a lot of greenery and ivory colors for the florals. The beautiful rustic/modern barn and grounds for the shoot paired perfectly with the colors. The emerald gave so much depth and richness to the surrounding wood walls and cement floors.
