Thank you so much for visiting this page – we are thrilled that you’re here!
The only reason that is so visually appealing is because of

Our goal is to curate a wedding website full of exceptional images.
but above all else, we love DIY!!!

We are a DIY focused wedding blog; please keep that in mind when submitting.

DIY Weddings: we love crafty brides and want to see their amazing events, any theme!
DIY Beach Weddings: we love toes in the sand, whether close to home or destination
Crafty Engagements: creative couples making their engagement shoots unique
DIY Bridal Showers: since we love the crafty bride, of course we love crafty showers
Holiday Themed Shoots: send us something fun with the next holiday in mind
Saturday Sum-up Images: one single, stand alone vertical image with beautiful colors

Anyone. Brides, Photographers, Designers, Stylists, Florists, etc.
We do ask that as a vendor submitting an event – ONLY submit if you have the express
written permission of the couple and please make sure that they are interested
in offering us their bridal feedback to include in their feature.
Since we receive so many submissions, we prefer to feature couples
that are truly excited about being a part of their feature.

We prefer to take submissions through Two Bright Lights;
but we also accept them through email + zip file and DropBox.

EMAIL: Jen @ with ‘SUBMISSION’ in the subject field.

Please have your images sized to 600 pixels wide, un-canvased with no watermarks at 72-dpi.
Weddings + Inspiration Shoots: 50-150 images, from getting ready to cake cutting
…the more details the better!
Engagements + Proposals: 30-60 images, we like unique venues, props and poses

From a proposal to a wedding… we want all the info and so do our readers!

Please include a brief description of the event, if chosen we will ask for more.
We value hearing the stories that our brides/grooms have to tell and we feel that
including that information in their feature makes it more interesting.
We email interview each of our couples so please include the appropriate email address.
Give credit where credit is due and let us know what vendors participated in the event.
To get a more detailed example of what we like to include in our features
please visit our ‘Real Weddings’ page.

If you do not hear back from us within two weeks; our regrets.

We will email you and the bride/groom. Once we receive the couples feedback for the post,
we will set the feature date. Our new favorite thing is to have our photographers
introduce each feature, so we’ll ask you to write a few words about the event.
Once featured we always share on Facebook, Twitter, Google + and Pinterest
and we invite you to do the same!

Thank you so much for considering sharing your work with Something Turquoise!
xoxo, Jen
