My favorite way to start my ‘Etsy Inspiration’ boards is by finding one image that to me, can inspire a whole board. The image that inspired today’s mint green board is this beautiful mint halo of ruffles by Flora Bond. “We love vintage trims and fabrics! There is something special about vintage fabrics: the textures, colors and patterns. So lovingly made and designed. And the traditional vintage elements—pearls, silk, rhinestones and flowers—are all unique and timeless. These rudiments, composed into lovely necklaces, headpieces and accessories transform these traditional fibers and pieces into jewelry that is modern with vintage glamour. We are also known for great artistic design, quality work and fantastic customer service!” -Flora Bond. They also love to create custom orders for the unique bride!  I LOVE that people are selling their amazing goods with fantastic images. That’s right… every single one of the images below is from a current ‘for sale’ listing on Etsy.com.

My favorite way to start my ‘Etsy Inspiration’ boards is by finding one image that to me, can inspire a whole board. The image that inspired today’s winter white + sea foam green board was the silk shoe clip from B Poetic. I really can’t tell you what it was about that image (probably the color!) that really grabbed me, but I loved it enough to search around and see if I could create a board from it – and obviously it worked! “It all started with a little seedling of an idea about some blooms. Grown from a deep love of accessorizing with the good looking stuff from nature, blooms add a pop of color to any outfit, because we know you’re no wallflower.” – Kaitlin of B Poetic.  I LOVE that people are selling their amazing goods with fantastic images. That’s right… every single one of the images below is from a current ‘for sale’ listing on Etsy.com.

I was so touched and inspired by the inspiration boards that Kathryn Grady of Snippet & Ink created for Etsy, that I had to create my own. I love gold and cream and as we are headed into the fall – I felt it appropriate. All of these images are from current Etsy sellers… making great products and capturing beauty worth inspiration with their photography. I can just imagine this beautiful romantic wedding…

I always love seeing bridal images that are strong enough to hang on gallery walls, I only wish I had an image of me on my wedding day – like this. Beautiful, stunning, high fashion. Why aren’t brides shot like this on a regular basis? The esteemed photographer Bill Phelps is not a wedding photographer… which goes to show, that great wedding photography can be done by other ‘types’ of photographers.
