15 Beautiful Ways To Add Black To Your Wedding

Of course this post is timely with the upcoming Halloween holiday, but black is, and has always been a classic, versatile wedding color. The pendulum has swung away from black in the wedding world for the past several years, in favor of soft blushes and many many shades of white. I think black is making a comeback in a big way. The dark color looks just as great in a moody palette, when paired with deep red or plum, as it does in a modern black and white palette.

The photos below represent a wide variety of ways you could pop in a dark pop to your day, or go all in with a moody moment. From goth, to modern, to classic black tie, black is a color that has real range. Make a modern statement with sleek black signage, or add a moody element with black candlesticks. Invite your guests with uber-cool black-on-black invites or offer a show stopper dessert in the dark hue. And of course, reserved for the bold, a black wedding dress and for the more demure, add a little black hair adornment. Keep scrolling for all our favorite ideas and enjoy the spooky season!
