Hi, brides and grooms! It’s Lauren from I Love Love Events. I’m writing to you from New York, where Mother Nature did not get the memo that it’s spring as we still have mounds of snow. But the wedding industry marches on with or without weather permitting, so we’re thinking spring weddings, but I believe the trend I’m about to talk about is bigger than one season. Today ladies and gentlemen, we are talking about the exploding of greenery onto the scene. Of course, flowers aren’t going anywhere, but the greens are definitely taking over this year. I hear brides asking all the time for overflowing greens, with just a few flowers sprinkled in. This look can be, but isn’t always, cost effective. It brings in the natural, earthy element and keeps the palette neutral and timeless. Pantone, the authority on color, has literally named “Greenery” the color of the year. In the design world plants are everywhere, and if you search the hashtag #JungalowStyle, you’ll see that they are filling people’s houses and social feeds, and the wedding world is following suit. This post proves that you don’t even need flowers to make a statement with flora (hello greenery wall!).
