Mini everything is cute, right? Mini food, mini pets, mini cars… and especially mini easels! I love seating + escort projects – they can be a bit involved but are 100% worth it because each guest will interact with the item you made. Today I’m sharing how to use Chalk Ink Markers and mini-mirrors to create the most fabulous DIY Mini-Mirror Easel Escort Card display! Perfect for an indoor or outdoor event, these cuties will quickly add something unique to your reception decor. Check out this page find our other fun DIY projects using Chalk Ink Markers!

Create To Fit Your Unique Event

Using good ol’ washi tape along the edges of the mini-mirrors adds color and style to this project, while protecting fingers from the sharp edges. Shop your local craft store, Etsy and even Amazon to find the perfect color and pattern to fit your unique event!

Washi Border

When these cute little mirrors arrived in the mail, I realized that the edges were kinda sharp and I needed something to cover them to protect my fingers and potential guest fingers – so I used washi tape! It worked perfectly and I found a pack with these 3 beautiful jewel tones at Michaels. Use any washi tape that fits your unique wedding theme!

Hand-lettered Mirrors

I have a deep love for Chalk Ink Markers. They write beautifully, they clean up easily, they come in fabulous colors and they can be used in so many diverse ways! Here I’m using the Artista Pro formula for lasting power. Unlike the wet-wipe formula, the Artista Pro is waterproof – meaning your designs will be super safe for travel, rain, any water spills or even a wet hand. I’m imagining your guests grabbing a glass of white wine or a beer and the condensation getting on their hands while trying to hold this seating card… I know, it’s a crazy thought but that’s where my brain goes!

The Artista Pro formula is removable using Magic Erasers or Windex products with ammonia.

Washi + Write

For each of your cute mirror escort cards… all you have to do is add the washi tape and hand-letter each guests name and table!
